Red Rhino makes its retail debut, featuring signature flavours now Accessible in local stores.

Red Rhino, a leading brewery in India’s craft beer segment, founded by Mr. Kishore Pallamreddy and Rachana Pallamreddy, is thrilled to announce the launch of its bottled beer. Known for its strong presence across 100+ on-tap locations, the brand now brings its craft to retail, making its beers more accessible without compromising quality or character.

The bottled portfolio includes three flavours: the Golden Harvest Lager, Soul Surfer Hefeweizen, and Bangalore Daze IPA, with smooth, creamy, and fruity taste notes, available exclusively in 330 ml bottles. The range brings taproom-quality beer to select retail shelves across Bengaluru.

Red Rhino owns a commercial brewery located on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Situated in Malur, their brewery features a 5-vessel brewhouse, dedicated kegging lines, multiple fermentation tanks, BBTs, and automated quality control systems, all designed to maintain consistent quality on a large scale.

The line-up includes Golden Harvest Lager (ABV 4.8%| IBU 17), which is brewed with premium basmati rice for exceptional smoothness. This lager offers a crystal-clear pour with a lasting white head. Secondly, Soul Surfer Hefeweizen (ABV 4.9%| IBU 15), an unfiltered wheat ale with classic banana and clove notes, delivers a creamy mouthfeel and soft spice, staying true to German Hefeweizen traditions. Finally, the Bangalore Daze IPA (ABV 6.8%| IBU 68), a classic West Coast–style IPA, an amber-hued beer which is aromatic and bold, featuring flavours of ripe mangosteen and bitter orange, crafted for seasoned hop lovers. All the beers are crafted and brewed in-house in Red Rhino’s Malur factory.

Commenting on the launch, the COO of Red Rhino, Mr. Ashwin Nawani said, “When moving from draft to bottle, our goal was not to change the soul of the beer, but to make it more stable without compromising flavour. We fine-tuned our recipes to account for shelf life, optimised fermentation and packaging to reduce oxygen pickup, and avoided shortcuts such as heavy filtration or preservatives. The beer in the bottle reflects the same craft intent as what you’d experience on tap.”

Commenting on the launch, Founder Mr Kishore Pallamreddy states, “This bottled range is a milestone in our evolution. We’ve always believed that great craft beer should be accessible, and now, we’re bringing our most-loved recipes directly to the doorsteps of Bengaluru’s beer lovers. It’s the same Red Rhino spirit, just in a new, convenient avatar.”

The bottled range is housed in a distinctive sculpted bottle, designed to stand out on retail shelves. Inspired by the Rhino, a symbol of strength and confidence, the design reflects the brand’s philosophy of bold yet balanced beers.

Currently available at select premium outlets, including Balcony Bar, Drops, Beer Box, Wild Bar, Dewars, Top shelf, and Liquids, Red Rhino plans to scale its bottled presence to 50+ locations by March 2026, while continuing its strong draft footprint.

Positioned in the premium craft segment, Red Rhino’s bottled debut reflects the growing premiumisation of India’s beer market. Over the next 12–24 months, the brand plans to expand across on-premise, off-premise, and taproom formats, with a focus on Bengaluru and Telangana.
