Fortune, the flagship edible oil brand of AWL Agri Business Ltd., has expanded its mustard oil portfolio with the launch of Fortune Yellow Mustard Oil. The new offering is aimed at consumers who prefer the traditional taste and qualities associated with yellow mustard oil in their everyday cooking.
Available in a 1-litre PET pack, Fortune Yellow Mustard Oil is made using carefully selected yellow mustard seeds. The product is positioned to combine the familiarity of a traditional cooking oil with the quality and reliability associated with the Fortune brand.
The new oil also contains Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, nutrients that are receiving growing attention as consumers become increasingly conscious of everyday nutrition and cooking choices.
Commenting on the launch, Prashant Pandey, Group Product Manager, AWL Agri Business Ltd., said the company continues to focus on understanding changing consumer preferences and making quality products accessible to households across India. He added that yellow mustard oil has a strong traditional connect, particularly in North India, and the new product brings together this familiarity with the trust consumers associate with Fortune.
The launch strengthens Fortune’s presence in the mustard oil segment while allowing the brand to cater to a wider range of consumer preferences and evolving cooking needs.
Fortune Yellow Mustard Oil will initially be available across Delhi NCR and urban markets in Punjab and Haryana. The company plans to expand its distribution through retail outlets as well as quick-commerce platforms, providing consumers with multiple options to purchase the product.
The launch event was attended by representatives from retail associations across Delhi NCR, marking Fortune’s entry into the Yellow Mustard Oil segment and highlighting the brand’s continued efforts to expand its presence across the edible oil category.
