It also offers a niche range of Ayurveda-inspired cakes. BA products can be easily incorporated into one’s daily lifestyle and cater to health requirements. They are specifically designed to help prevent and treat lifestyle-related ailments. Our products include:

Could you please brief us about the power of Ayurveda and its significance for a healthy lifestyle?

Ayurveda is a science of life that emerged in ancient India. Its approach towards leading a healthy life, along with treatment and prevention of illness is holistic. It lays down fundamentals that can help us follow a healthy routine and diet on a regular basis, with the use of herbs, herbal remedies, the practice of pranayama, Yoga, and several other ways.

What are the current trends you observe in the Indian food & beverages sectors and how do you see the scope of Ayurveda-based products?

In today’s fast-paced lifestyle, there has been an emerging trend of readily available packaged foods and beverages that claim to be nutritionally rich, even though not freshly prepared.
Butterfly Ayurveda products are made fresh using traditional Ayurvedic methods, with 100% natural ingredients after a rigorous amount of R&D to help balance the tridoshas, and can be easily consumed as a part of one’s daily lifestyle.

With the proliferation of Ayurvedic products that are fresh, healthy and nourishing, the scope for Ayurveda-based products is enormous. These products can bring about a lasting change in a person’s overall health, and help cure ailments while treating the root cause of the health issue.

How do you see the competition in this segment and what are your USP and market share?

Market Share – As per a report by the Global Wellness Institute, Ayurveda is a big part of the global market. In India, as per IMARC, the Ayurvedic products market size reached INR 626 Billion in 2022 & is expected to reach INR 1,824 Billion by 2028, exhibiting a CAGR of 19.3% during 2023-2028.

Tell us about your R&D departments and their contribution towards developing new products? Also, brief us about your manufacturing processes and food safety measures and standards you follow.

Our R&D team includes Ayurvedic doctors, consultants, and scientists who have the expertise to blend Ayurvedic knowledge with modern technology to make innovative products that cater to current health & lifestyle.

We have a GMP-certified herbal tea and powder manufacturing unit in Manesar. All the processing and storing are done within GMP panels and temperature-controlled rooms.

Our FSSAI-licensed bakery unit at Chhatarpur can bake over 1200 kg of cookies per month.

Strategic partnerships with multiple GMP certified units allow us to manufacture syrups and capsules. All our syrups are developed using a method known as the ‘decoction-based method’ that involves soaking the herbs in water and brewing them like a ‘kadha’ for an allotted period to extract their medicinal properties.

All BA products are tested for quality through in-house quality check and assurance methods. All BA products are licensed by the State Dept. of AYUSH or FSSAI approved, and manufactured in GMP certified units.

What are your future plans for expansion?

Ans. We envision Butterfly Ayurveda as a worldwide household Ayurvedic brand that promotes healthy living and healthy eating for all. To do this we plan on opening our outlets, which bring together all of our offerings under one roof and enable the customers to experience the brand as a whole.
