iD Fresh Food has announced the launch of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, marking a significant step in its ongoing expansion across India. The advanced, automated plant reflects the company’s focus on innovation, sustainability, and regional growth, while also contributing to local employment. This is the brand’s fourth manufacturing unit in the country.
Spread over 40,000 sq. ft., the facility has substantially enhanced the company’s production capacity, particularly for its popular batter and parota range. The plant has also been designed with future scalability in mind, with the capability to produce additional products such as chapatis, further strengthening the brand’s fresh food portfolio in the region.
Commenting on the development, PC Musthafa, Global CEO and Chairman of iD Fresh Food India, described the facility as a key milestone in the company’s mission to deliver clean-label, preservative-free food to households across the country. He highlighted that the plant reflects the company’s emphasis on technology-driven operations, strict hygiene standards, and a strong commitment to sustainability and community engagement. The new facility is also expected to enhance supply chain efficiency and ensure freshness at scale.
Echoing similar sentiments, Rajat Diwaker, CEO (India), noted that the company is strengthening its presence in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through this investment. He added that Hyderabad remains a strategic market for the brand, with the facility set to cater not only to the city but also to nearby regions such as Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh. The company aims to build a robust, hyperlocal supply chain while maintaining high standards of quality and freshness.
The plant features advanced automation systems that enable a touch-free production process, ensuring superior levels of hygiene and food safety. With a workforce of over 200 employees—99% of whom are from the local community—the facility also serves as an important hub for employment generation and skill development.
In line with its sustainability agenda, the plant incorporates environmentally responsible practices such as solar energy utilization and water recycling systems. With this expansion, iD Fresh Food continues to reinforce its commitment to providing convenient, fresh, and transparent ready-to-cook food solutions tailored to modern lifestyles, while preserving the authenticity of traditional Indian cuisine.
